Technical Product Manager

Product Pulse
San Francisco, CA Full Time
POSTED ON 7/6/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 12/31/2026

About the Company

We’re a modern data infrastructure platform for construction, a $12 trillion industry running on software built 20-40 years ago. The product sits between legacy ERPs and modern construction software, automating manual workflows that contractors currently handle by hand across ERP Sync, AP Automation, Expense Management, and Vendor Management.

About the Role

We’re hiring a hands-on, technical product leader to build new products on top of the infrastructure that took years to build and no one else has. You'll own the full arc from idea to MVP to production to $1M ARR, then do it again. You'll work across Product Analysts, Account Executives, and engineers to move fast, launch repeatedly, and grow revenue. This is a rare PM advantage: deep proprietary infrastructure already integrated with every major construction ERP and project management platform, and a built-in distribution channel of 500 paying customers and a growing co-sell network with some of the largest names in the industry. What you build gets used immediately and compounds across the suite. Roughly 70-80% of your time is strategy, customer work, and roadmap; 20-30% is execution. Reports directly to the CEO.

What You'll Own

  1. Define what gets built: synthesize signals from customers, PAs, AEs, and the market to set product direction, sequencing, and "why now."
  2. Lead cross-functional execution: work daily with PAs, engineers, and AEs from requirements through scoping, QA, launch, and customer rollout
  3. Go deep on customers: work directly with construction companies to understand workflows, uncover unmet needs, and shape products people will pay for

Work Type

  1. Set and drive the roadmap: prioritize ruthlessly across a portfolio of products; know what's worth building now vs. later
  2. Think in platforms, not features: every product should make the next one easier to sell and faster to build

Requirements

Must-Have

  1. 2 years of full-time experience at a software company in a data analyst, product, or other technical role (exceptional new grads with substantive internships considered)
  2. Hands-on builder mentality: loves operating in the messy weeds of nuanced systems, focused on execution and delivery over strategy and market research
  3. Technical depth: at least 1 year of hands-on experience with APIs, databases, SQL, Postman, or comparable tools
  4. Comfortable with customers: can work with software engineers at startups through CFOs at specialty contractors, onboard customers, run demos, negotiate timelines
  5. SF in-person, 5 days a week (no remote option)

Nice-to-Have

  1. Prior experience interfacing with customers (user interviews, demoing SaaS products)
  2. Basic accounting knowledge or construction industry familiarity (many use cases relate to automating financial workflows)
  3. Early-stage startup tenure (pre-Seed through Series C) at a data-dense or complex product (accounting, project management, B2B SaaS with operational complexity)
  4. Prior founding PM or founding-team experience
