What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative / Account Manager position at Product Society?
Customer Service & Account Manager with Ai Experience
Full-Time in Person North Hollywood• Reports to Head of Operations
Compensation: $80,000–$100,000
About the Role
We’re hiring a Customer Service & Account Manager who will own the client relationship end-to-end. This is not a coordinator role. You’ll be the person clients trust, the one who knows their business, anticipates their needs, and keeps internal teams aligned and accountable.
What makes this role unique: we’re investing in AI tools — specifically agent-based workflows. If you’re experienced with AI, comfortable learning new tools, and excited to help shape how we work, this is a rare opportunity to build something meaningful from the inside.
What You’ll Do
Client Ownership
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts — responsive, proactive, and solutions-oriented
Deeply understand each client’s business objectives, brand standards, and production requirements
Lead regular client calls and status meetings; own all follow-up and documentation
Anticipate issues before they become problems and communicate proactively when timelines or specs shift
Internal Coordination
Track all open orders and manage cross-functional alignment across Production, Shipping & Receiving, Quality, and Accounting
Maintain accurate client records, project documentation, and correspondence in our systems
AI-Assisted Workflows
Embrace and help develop AI-powered tools to build account-specific agents and workflows
Use AI to synthesize client history, draft communications, track deliverables, and surface risks faster than traditional methods allow
Partner with leadership to identify where intelligent automation can improve response times and client experience
What We’re Looking For
Required
2–5 years in account management, customer success, or client-facing project management
Experience building custom work flow agents
Experience in or adjacent to manufacturing, CPG, private label, contract production, or product development
Excellent written and verbal communicator — clear, confident, and professional under pressure
Strong organizational instincts: you manage competing deadlines without dropping details
Proficiency with ERP platforms and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Strong Differentiators
Genuine curiosity about AI tools and a demonstrated willingness to learn and apply them in your work
Experience working at a contract manufacturer, ingredient supplier, packaging company, or similar service provider to brands
Established industry relationships you’d bring to the role
Comfort in a fast-moving company where you’ll have real ownership and fewer layers.
