About the Company
My client is a well established commercial specialty contractor in the Midwest with decades of experience across healthcare, retail, hospitality, office, industrial, and municipal markets. They self perform a wide range of interior construction scopes and have a strong presence across the Midwest.
The Role
They are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate all phases of commercial interior construction projects from pre-bid through final closeout across multiple active projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule projects and attend pre-bid, pre-construction, and OAC meetings
- Develop and manage budgets, control schedules, and assist with job costing
- Manage day-to-day operations including subcontractor coordination, change orders, and safety compliance
- Serve as the primary client point of contact throughout the project lifecycle
- Oversee field operations and prepare all closeout documents upon completion
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of construction management experience across commercial, healthcare, or industrial projects
- Strong knowledge of construction systems, documents, and contract management
- Proficient in MS Project, Excel, and Outlook. OST, QuickBid, and PlanGrid a plus
- OSHA 10 or 30 preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
