Legal Solutions Analyst (Techno-Functional)
Location: Hybrid (2 days onsite) – Must be local to one of the firm’s U.S. offices
Compensation: Targeting up to ~$110K base (flexible for the right candidate)
Overview
We are partnering with a nationally recognized law firm to identify a Legal Solutions Analyst who can operate at the intersection of business, technology, and legal operations. This individual will work closely with attorneys, practice groups, and internal teams to evaluate needs and deliver scalable technology-driven solutions that enhance efficiency, usability, and knowledge sharing across the organization.
This is a highly visible role within a collaborative environment, offering exposure to both established systems and emerging technologies—including automation and AI-enabled tools.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Partner with attorneys and business stakeholders to understand workflows, challenges, and opportunities for improvement
- Translate business needs into functional requirements and actionable technology solutions
- Support the rollout and optimization of legal technology platforms (document management, knowledge systems, automation tools, etc.)
- Help design and improve workflows that streamline operations and enhance user experience
- Contribute to the evaluation and implementation of new tools, including AI-driven capabilities
- Assist with pilot programs, user adoption efforts, and ongoing enhancements
- Work cross-functionally with IT, KM, and operations teams to ensure solutions are practical, scalable, and aligned with firm priorities
What They’re Looking For
- Experience in a techno-functional role (Business Analyst, Solutions Analyst, Applications Analyst, etc.)
- Prior experience within a law firm or legal services environment strongly preferred
- Familiarity with legal tech platforms (i.e., DMS, knowledge management tools, or similar enterprise systems)
- Exposure to process improvement, workflow design, or system implementations
- Experience or interest in automation and AI tools (Power Platform, document automation, Copilot, etc.)
- Strong ability to communicate between technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across multiple initiatives
