Estimator – Commercial Construction (Healthcare & Higher Education)
Greater Philadelphia Area
A well-established commercial general contractor is seeking an Estimator to join its growing team. This role will focus on healthcare and higher education projects throughout the Greater Philadelphia area, with opportunities to work on complex projects ranging from $1M to $150M .
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and bid proposals for commercial construction projects
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Assist with budgeting, value engineering, and preconstruction activities
- Collaborate with project managers and operations teams throughout the estimating process
Qualifications
- 5 years of estimating experience with a commercial CM/GC
- Experience estimating healthcare and/or higher education projects required
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction means, methods, and pricing
- Stable work history with reputable general contractors preferred
- Ability to work onsite in the Greater Philadelphia area
