Senior Collections Manager

A well-established and growing organization in the construction / home services industry is seeking a Collections Manager to lead and elevate its collections function. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on driving cash flow, improving processes, and partnering cross-functionally to resolve complex receivables.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and develop a collections team, driving accountability and performance
• Oversee end-to-end collections processes including follow-up, dispute resolution, and escalations
• Manage lien rights processes, ensuring compliance with deadlines and regulations
• Oversee insurance depreciation recovery, partnering with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Build and enhance reporting (aging, KPIs, trends) using advanced Excel
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and scalability
• Partner with accounting, operations, and leadership to resolve collection barriers

What We’re Looking For

• 8 years of experience in collections, AR, or credit management
• Proven leadership experience managing a collections team
• Strong knowledge of lien rights and compliance
• Experience with insurance-related receivables or depreciation recovery
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, reporting, data analysis)
• Process improvement mindset with strong problem-solving skills
• Professional communication style with ability to handle sensitive situations

Nice to Have

• Construction, roofing, or home services industry experience
• Familiarity with progress billing or insurance-based collections environments
