What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Associate Attorney position at LHH?
A respected regional law firm is seeking a mid-level litigation associate to join its New Hampshire office. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse docket of sophisticated business disputes while taking on meaningful responsibility within a collaborative team environment.
The Role:
- Represent clients in a variety of complex commercial litigation matters
- Manage casework from early-stage filings through resolution
- Draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery materials
- Participate in fact development, including document review and electronic data management
- Support and, where appropriate, take part in depositions, hearings, and court proceedings
Qualifications:
- 3–7 years of litigation experience, ideally with exposure to business-related disputes
- Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters and work independently while contributing to a team
- Sound judgment, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Admission to the New Hampshire Bar required
Compensation & Expectations:
- Salary range: $110,000 – $170,000
- Billable requirement: 1,800 hours annually
