Senior Collector – Asset Recovery Agent

Compensation & Schedule

• 12-month assignment
Role Impact
The Senior Collector – Asset Recovery Agent serves as a key point of contact for customers, internal partners, and recovery vendors regarding repossession-related accounts. This role ensures accurate, compliant communication around reinstatement and redemption processes while supporting efficient asset recovery operations. Success is defined by regulatory adherence, high-quality customer interactions, and meeting call center service level expectations.
Key Duties
• Respond to inbound calls regarding reinstatement, redemption, and asset recovery inquiries
• Provide accurate information in compliance with state-specific repossession laws and regulatory guidelines
• Research and clarify account status, recovery processes, and documentation requirements for internal teams
• Communicate with asset recovery vendors to support repossession and recovery activities
• Meet departmental service levels for call handling, response times, and quality standards
Minimum Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1–2 years of experience in auto finance, collections, or asset recovery
• Strong verbal communication skills with experience handling inbound customer calls
Equipment & Work Environment
• High-volume inbound call center environment
• Extended periods of sitting and computer/phone use
• Multi-system navigation including account management platforms and Microsoft Outlook
• Data entry with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Preferred Skills
• Reinstatement and redemption experience
• Familiarity with state repossession laws and regulatory compliance standards
• Strong time management and organizational skills in a metrics-driven environment
