What are the responsibilities and job description for the Payroll Specialist position at LHH?
LHH Recruitment Solutions is assisting our client in their search for a Payroll Specialist to join their team in Columbus, OH. This position will mostly focus on payroll in high volume. The ideal candidate will have a strong payroll background including reviewing timesheets for missed punches, processing payroll and answering employees payroll questions. This position will be contract only at least for now. Our client is ready to make a move for the right candidate!
Responsibilities:
- Review timesheets for missing punches and getting corrected before processing
- Investigate out of compliance activities on timesheets to determine validity
- Support multiple regions locations
- Communicate with managers to verify timesheet information if needed
- Researching uncashed checks
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of payroll experience
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
- Very comfortable with vlookups and pivot tables in Excel
- ADP and Workday experience helpful
Salary : $22 - $25
