Patient Services Coordinator I | Healthcare Clinic Opportunity
We’re looking for a Patient Services Coordinator I to support a busy healthcare clinic in Waterford, CT. If you have at least 1 year of administrative or healthcare experience and enjoy working in a patient-facing role, this is a great opportunity to build your career in a fast-paced clinical environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage patient intake, registration, and front-desk activities
- Schedule appointments and coordinate follow-up visits
- Handle inbound and outbound patient calls with professionalism
- Use Epic and other systems for scheduling and documentation
- Ensure pre-visit requirements, referrals, and authorizations are completed
- Maintain and manage work queues efficiently
- Coordinate and organize medical records
- Scan and manage non-clinical documentation
- Collaborate with clinical teams to support patient care
- Deliver excellent customer service in all patient interactions
What You Bring:
- 1 year of administrative or healthcare experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfort with technology and healthcare systems
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Epic systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology or related training
📍 Location: Waterford, CT- 06385
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
💵 Pay: $18 – $20/hour.
