LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well‑established manufacturing organization located in Johnson County- who is seeking to hire a Supply Chain Manager. This role will oversee key supply chain and warehouse operations within a fast‑paced flexible packaging environment and will play a critical role in driving operational efficiency, cross‑functional collaboration, and people leadership across the site. The Supply Chain Manager will be a hands‑on leader with strong manufacturing experience and the ability to connect supply chain strategy to plant‑level execution
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and oversee site‑level supply chain and warehouse operations, including supervision of warehouse leadership and hourly team members.
- Serve as a member of the plant leadership team, partnering closely with the Plant Manager and HR leadership to support overall plant performance.
- Drive alignment across supply chain functions within a manufacturing environment, ensuring materials, logistics, and warehouse operations support production demands.
- Provide direct leadership, coaching, and development to supervisors and their teams, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with operations, quality, and other plant stakeholders to support operational goals and plant initiatives.
- Bring a practical, hands‑on approach to problem‑solving within a production‑driven environment, adapting best practices to the needs of the plant.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- 7 years of experience in manufacturing environments.
- 10 years of Supply Chain Operations leadership or management experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Proven experience leading teams within manufacturing operations, with exposure to supply chain functions across the plant.
- Strong people leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop, and engage frontline leadership and hourly teams.
