They are seeking to hire a Human Resources Manager to serve as the on‑site HR leader for the manufacturing facility—partnering closely with leadership and employees to drive engagement, performance, and a positive workplace experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Acting as the primary HR resource for both hourly and salaried employees, supporting employee relations, coaching leaders, and navigating sensitive or complex situations with professionalism and sound judgment
- Leading end‑to‑end recruiting and onboarding for the site, helping attract and retain talent that supports operational goals and culture
- Administer and oversee compensation, payroll coordination, benefits, leave administration, performance management, and corrective action processes
- Ensuring HR practices remain compliant, consistent, and aligned with employment laws while maintaining accurate employee records
- Partnering with site leadership on engagement initiatives, culture‑building efforts, and continuous improvement, helping reinforce a safe, inclusive, and high‑performance workplace
- Championing workplace safety and OSHA compliance
- Supporting clear and effective employee communications, ensuring teams stay informed and engaged
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Hands‑on experience with high‑volume recruiting, employee relations, and payroll processing
- Strong working knowledge of HR compliance, policies, and best practices
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, hands‑on plant environment
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and strong interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR systems; ability to analyze and report on HR data
