Facilities Coordinator | Direct Hire
We’re looking for a Facilities Coordinator to join a dynamic team in New Haven, CT. If you have experience in facilities management or industrial maintenance and enjoy coordinating schedules, tracking work, and supporting a maintenance team, this is a great opportunity to grow in a hands-on, engaging environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily and long-term work for the site-based maintenance team.
- Receive, track, and dispatch work orders for subcontractors and on-site personnel.
- Interface with customers as needed to clarify work scope and provide status updates.
- Generate and monitor preventative maintenance (PM) tasks to ensure compliance.
- Maintain work order logs, timesheets, and monthly reports with accuracy.
- Create metrics (charts, graphs, spreadsheets) and present them to management.
- Assist with procuring materials and services, including purchase orders and invoices.
- Manage the team’s safety matrix and maintain filing/record-keeping systems.
- Support mailroom duties and small event setup as needed.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the Site Manager.
What You Bring:
- 5–10 years of experience in facilities management or industrial maintenance, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous experience in an industrial maintenance environment.
- Proficiency with CMMS and other maintenance-related software.
- Strong organizational, scheduling, and administrative skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members, customers, and vendors.
- Detail-oriented, collaborative, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
📍 Location: 1 Columbus Plaza, New Haven, CT 06510-Onsite
💵 Pay: $26 – $28/hour.
Shifts: Shift: Shift: 1st Shift (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM)
