Senior Customer Service / Account Manager (Logistics – Food Wholesale)

Hybrid Role: Gardena, CA

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Customer Service / Account Manager to support key client relationships within a fast-paced food wholesale and logistics environment. This role is responsible for managing high-volume accounts, ensuring order accuracy and on-time delivery, and acting as the primary point of contact between customers, operations, and distribution teams.

The ideal candidate thrives in a deadline-driven setting, understands supply chain dynamics, and is skilled at problem-solving in real time.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day relationships with key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
• Process and monitor high-volume orders, ensuring accuracy, pricing, and timely fulfillment
• Coordinate closely with warehouse, transportation, and supply chain teams to resolve delivery issues
• Track shipments, inventory levels, and order status to proactively communicate with clients
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer concerns including delays, shortages, and product issues
• Support forecasting and demand planning by communicating trends and customer needs
• Maintain accurate records in ERP/CRM systems (orders, pricing, customer communication)
• Assist in onboarding new clients and supporting account growth initiatives

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in customer service, account management, or inside sales within logistics, distribution, or food wholesale
• Strong understanding of supply chain operations, order fulfillment, and inventory flow
• Experience managing high-volume accounts and complex order cycles
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and ERP/CRM systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in food distribution, perishable goods, or CPG logistics
• Familiarity with systems such as SAP, NetSuite, or similar ERP platforms
• Experience working with retailers, restaurants, or grocery clients
• Exposure to transportation coordination (LTL, FTL, routing, delivery scheduling)

Compensation & Benefits

$27 to $30 per hour
