An established regional law firm seeks an experienced Commercial Litigation Paralegal to join its downtown Fort Lauderdale office. This is a hands-on position where the paralegal functions as a key contributor.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in all phases of commercial litigation, including case management, discovery, and trial preparation
- Draft, review, and organize pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
- Manage deadlines and ensure timely filings, often under tight turnaround times
- Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorney review
- Coordinate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel as needed
- Maintain organized case files and manage document production
