Accounts Payable Manager | Hybrid | Kansas City Area
A growing organization is adding a newly created Accounts Payable Manager to support continued expansion and help build a more structured, scalable AP function. This is a high-impact role with the opportunity to lead a team, improve processes, and influence how accounts payable operates moving forward.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead day-to-day accounts payable operations, including invoice processing, approvals, and payment cycles
- Manage vendor relationships and resolve invoice discrepancies or workflow challenges
- Oversee and develop a team of AP professionals
- Identify process gaps and implement improvements across AP workflows
- Support system enhancements and automation initiatives within the AP function
What they’re looking for:
- Strong background in accounts payable with hands-on experience managing full-cycle AP
- Prior leadership experience overseeing a team
- Experience improving or building AP processes, policies, or workflows
- Exposure to system changes, implementations, or upgrades is highly preferred
