LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a respected organization in Tigard, OR, to hire an Administrative Assistant for a full-time contract opportunity. This position will support a collaborative team responsible for community outreach, communications, and operational initiatives. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
Location: Tigard, OR
Duration: Approximately 6-month contract assignment
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Compensation: $27.52 per hour
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to multiple departments and team members
- Assist with preparing and maintaining documents, reports, presentations, and other business materials
- Manage and update databases, records, and contact information
- Support communication efforts through digital content, newsletters, and other outreach materials
- Coordinate schedules, resources, and logistics for departmental initiatives
- Assist with purchasing, inventory tracking, and general administrative processes
- Serve as a point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders
- Help ensure projects, communications, and operational activities are completed accurately and on time
- Perform additional administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
We are specifically seeking candidates with:
- 2 years of professional administrative experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training is preferred
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
- A proactive approach to learning new systems, processes, and responsibilities
Preferred:
- Experience supporting communications, outreach, or customer-facing functions
- Familiarity with content creation, digital communications, or social media platforms
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
