We are partnering with a high-growth, multi-entity organization seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to join their leadership team. This is a highly visible role working closely with the Corporate Controller, offering the opportunity to drive process improvements, support M&A activity, and scale accounting operations in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead monthly and year-end close processes, ensuring timely, accurate GAAP-compliant financials
- Oversee general ledger, inventory accounting, and account reconciliations
- Review balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Strengthen internal controls and ensure financial data integrity
- Manage lease accounting (ASC 842), including ROU assets and disclosures
- Support M&A activity, including purchase accounting and integration efforts
- Lead external audit process and act as primary point of contact for auditors
- Drive system implementations and process improvements across accounting functions
- Partner cross-functionally with leadership to enhance reporting and decision-making
- Mentor and develop a high-performing accounting team
Qualifications
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership exposure
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial statement preparation
- Experience with ASC 842 lease accounting
- Background in multi-entity environments; PE-backed or M&A exposure preferred
- Experience with ERP/system implementations or conversions
- ERP proficiency (ServiceTitan and/or Sage Intacct highly preferred)
- Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance required; CPA and/or MBA preferred

Salary : $155,000 - $165,000
