Senior AP Specialist (Lead)

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Payable Specialist (Lead) to join their team in North Phoenix, Arizona. This position offers a dynamic and fast-paced environment, perfect for someone with strong analytical skills and a passion for numbers.

*Temp-to-hire

• Full cycle accounts payable management, including weekly check runs in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.
• Utilize Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP for data analysis and reporting.
• Perform vendor reconciliations to ensure accurate and timely payments.
• Participate in adhoc projects as needed to support the department's objectives.
• Serve as the lead point of contact between the 8 AP Specialists and the supervisor, providing guidance and support.
• Manage the Paycom database for onboarding paperwork, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Coordinate with team members to maintain smooth operations and resolve any issues that arise.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and extreme attention to detail in all tasks, avoiding a "mindless processing" approach.
  
  

• 4 years of full-cylce AP processing experience with a minimum of 1 year in a lead or assisting team members capacity
• Experience with Dynamics 365 and Coupa is a plus but not required.
• Proven ability to handle high-volume, high-stress environments efficiently.
• Previous experience in a lead role, formal or informal, is essential.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Excel, specifically with Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP.
• Desire to work in an in-office setting in North Phoenix, Arizona.
  
  

Work hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

The salary range for this position is $30 to $31 per hour.
