Ledgent Finance and Accounting has a bussness services partner located in the St Paul Area needing to add to their payroll team!
- Pay: $60,000-$80,000/yr
- Mon-Fri 8am to 5pm

Process full-cycle payroll for hourly, salaried, and contract employees in accordance with established schedules.
Review and verify timecards, timesheets, and attendance records for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Enter, update, and reconcile payroll data including new hires, terminations, pay rate changes, deductions, and garnishments.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws.
Prepare and distribute payroll reports to HR and Finance as needed.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, taxes, deductions, and payroll policies.
Coordinate with HR to ensure accurate employee records and benefits deductions.
Assist with year-end processes including W-2 preparation and audits.
Maintain confidentiality and secure handling of sensitive information.
Support process improvements and payroll system enhancements.
Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (Bachelor's preferred).
2 years of payroll processing experience.
Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
Experience with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paycom, Paylocity, Workday, or similar).
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general data analysis.
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality.
