As of October 31st, an exceptional law firm seeks a Benefits & Leave Administration Specialist to join their team. This role will involve:
- Administering employee leaves, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws, and maintaining all documentation.
- Supporting all facets of the firm’s benefits administration, including health, vision, dental, FSA, and other specialty benefits.
- Maintaining files and internal communications, conducting periodic audits, and handling any troubleshooting or problem resolution.
- Overseeing time and attendance records, including employee hours, leave balances, and time-off accruals.
- Advising staff on life event changes and coverage updates.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Leaves of Absence administration.
- Professional with 2-3 or more years of related Benefits experience and knowledge of healthcare policies preferred.
- Proficiency with an HRIS system such as Workday.
- Strong understanding of laws and regulations for leaves of absence programs.
- Tech-savvy, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
