As of November 24th, prestigious law firm is seeking an Assistant Managing Clerk to assist with all filings, service of papers, and litigation procedures. The person in this role will assist with:
- Advising attorneys and staff on state, federal, and local rules, and must therefore remain informed on related changes, best practices, and trends.
- Calendaring deadlines and upcoming trials and updating the firm’s electronic database.
- Responding to inquiries or requests from attorneys and reviewing documents for accuracy.
- Coordinating services for vendors.
- Providing general litigation support.
Required Skills:
- Five or more years of experience in a Managing Clerk’s Office.
- Knowledgeable of court rules and procedures, proficient with relevant software, and familiar with electronic filings.
- Excellent communication skills, a professional demeanor, and a detail-oriented approach.
