Duties
- Assist in the construction of buildings by performing tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and experienced workers to complete assigned tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by removing debris and keeping tools in designated areas.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your coworkers.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining quality standards.
Experience
- Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is a plus.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to climb a ladder
- Ability to pass a background check/ drug screening
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting.
