A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service:

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.

Qualifications:

- Performing short and long-range planning, makes work assignments and adjustments as necessary to accomplish the mission;
- Developing manpower policy and guidance; Developing, organizing and analyzing assessments of joint manpower requirement topics and preparing presentations and reports;
- Ensuring manpower recommendations reflect contemporary and international defense policies, changes in the world conditions, statutory restrictions, and legislative initiatives.

Responsibilities:
As a SUPERVISORY MANAGEMENT ANALYST at the GS-0343-15 some of your typical work assignments may include:- Performs short and long-range planning, makes work assignments and adjustments as necessary to accomplish the unit's mission.
- Monitor the status and progress of work, reviews completed work for sufficiency and administrative requirements.
- Serve as the Joint Staff expert on joint manpower requirement issues.
- Develops, organizes and analyzes assessments of joint manpower requirement topics and prepares presentations and reports as necessary.
- Develops study proposals and leads COCOM-wide manpower requirements studies reporting 1directly to the Director of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
- Ensures manpower recommendations reflect contemporary and international defense policies, changes in the world conditions, statutory restrictions and legislative initiatives.
- Responsible for the management and supervision of the Joint Manpower Requirements Branch personnel
