This position is part of the Organization of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Joint Chiefs of Staff. The position reports to the OCDAO and serves as Information Technology (IT) Specialist in support of data-centricity and digital transformation.
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service as listed below:
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Qualifications:
You may qualify at the GG -15 if you fulfilt the following qualifications:One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service as listed below:
- Mastery knowledge to identify gaps in the Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence realm and make recommendations for closing the gaps across multiple IT and specific cyber programs as they relate to the security and stability of the global information and communications infrastructure;
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in planning, coordinating, and managing enterprise-wide data programs to align people, processes, and technologies in support of large-scale organizational missions, supporting the warfighter and enhancing operational effectiveness;
- Serves as data management expert utilizing performance measurement tools, techniques, and management controls in the establishment of data, information and decision advantage required by the Secretary of Defense and the Chairman of the Joint Chief of Staff (CJCS), and Combatant Commands;
- Provides oversight of policy compliance with relevant Federal and Department of Defense (DOD) statutory, regulatory, and policy directives across the organization;
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in planning, coordinating, and managing enterprise-wide data programs to align people, processes, and technologies in support of large-scale organizational missions, supporting the warfighter and enhancing operational effectiveness;
- Develops and interprets executive-level data management programs, associated metrics, and emerging technology initiatives for evaluation of technical project effectiveness and efficiency
