This position is part of the Organization of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. The incumbent serves the Joint Staff in providing management advisory services in all areas of personnel to include manpower and organizational management to high level officials, and management and administrative officers and supports

One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service:

Qualifications:
You may qualify at the GS-13, if you fulfill the following qualifications:One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service:
- Providing personnel management advice and assistance to supervisors, managers, and employees on a wide variety of employee/management issues;
- Understanding position classification principles, practices, applications and a knowledge of position classification and organizational design principles;
- Applying recruitment and staffing procedures for all types of positions through GS-15, political appointees, and consultant/expert appointments;
- Identifying laws and regulations governing employment in the competitive and excepted service.

Salary : $121,785
