My client is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate (2–7 Years) to join its New York office. Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse docket of commercial litigation matters with increasing autonomy.
- Serve in a front-facing role with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents with precision and strategic insight.
- Conduct sophisticated legal research and contribute to case strategy.
- Participate in all phases of litigation, including discovery, hearings, and trial preparation.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across practice groups to deliver exceptional legal service.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
- 2–7 years of strong commercial litigation experience at a reputable law firm.
- Judicial clerkship experience preferred.
- Outstanding writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
- Admission to the New York Bar, active and in good standing.
- Ability to assume significant responsibility and manage multiple matters simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a client-focused mindset.
