Pay: $36-$57
Location: Boise, ID
Duration: 12 month contract
The Site Safety Manager ensures a safe, healthy work environment by developing and supporting safety programs that meet all federal, state, and local regulations. Working closely with field teams and leadership, this role strengthens safety culture through training, guidance, and consistent oversight across job sites.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Onsite 5 days per week
- Conduct site walks, inspections, and hazard prevention
- Serve as a technical safety advisor to management and ensure compliance with labor laws and industry regulations
- Perform regular audits, job walks, and hazard analyses
- Lead incident investigations and corrective action planning; identify and communicate safety trends
- Maintain required safety records
- Coach and mentor teams to promote a proactive safety culture
- Schedule, facilitate, and track safety training
- Support environmental compliance and interface with regulatory agencies as needed
- Maintain technical knowledge through ongoing education
- Manage subcontractor safety programs, coordinators, case management, OCIP/CCIP claims, craft training, and high‑risk activity planning
- Assist with additional tasks as assigned
Required Skills & Experience
- 5 years of site safety management in commercial construction
- BCSP CHST, SMP, or CSP certification
- OSHA 510 (OSHA 500 strongly preferred)
- Knowledge of NFPA 70E and Lockout/Tagout
- Strong technical and administrative skills
- Experience preparing incident reports
- Proficiency with Microsoft and Google Suites, PDF tools, Safety Culture Auditor, Box, and Smartsheet

- Semiconductor chip manufacturing plant experience
