The PA will work within a collaborative physician relationship to provide specialized and advanced direct and indirect medical care to clients of all ages, with a focus on OB and family practice. The role includes direct patient care, documentation, and administrative duties, with a set schedule and rotating Saturday shifts. The NP will support a diverse patient population, including a significant Latino/Hispanic community, and will be involved in credentialing and onboarding processes. The ideal candidate is bilingual, compassionate, and experienced in fast-paced clinical environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct medical care, including histories, exams, diagnosis, and treatment plans
- Educate clients and families to promote wellness and disease management
- Prescribe and dispense medications
- Document assessments, interventions, and responses accurately
- Complete charge tickets for billing and insurance
- Communicate test results and follow-up to clients
- Coordinate care, triage calls, and schedule admissions/testing
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Valid NP or PA License
- 3 years of experience preferred
- Background in family practice or OB (no skilled nursing facility background preferred)
- Strong communication, compassion, and professionalism
- Experience with credentialing processes
- Willingness to work with a diverse patient population, including Latino/Hispanic communities
- Ability to work set schedule, including rotating Saturdays
Comfortable with patient care (37 hours/week) and documentation (3hours/week)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $128,960.00 - $156,000.00 per year
