Technical Architect, Data AI

As a Technical Architect you will be part of our core consulting team that helps our customers solve problems, tackle projects, and embrace any challenge. You will work with a diverse and specialized team of solution architects, engineers, and analysts to design, develop, and deliver data and AI/ML solutions using platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, Databricks and Snowflake. You will also stay updated on technology and ecosystem trends, especially those related to data, AI and ML.

• Leverage/create approved solution assets to design the specific architecture of data and AI/ML solutions for our customers using technology platforms such as; Microsoft Azure, AWS, Snowflake, and Databricks.
• Ensure solutions are designed with integrity; not violating any copyright, governance or regulatory practices.
• Communicate system requirements and specifications to key stakeholders ensuring a smooth hand-off to delivery teams and customer expectations are met.
• Provide ongoing technical leadership advisory oversight to delivery teams and data consumers.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues when they arise.
• Monitor and optimize the quality, performance and security of data and AI/ML solutions collaborating with solutions architects to vet and incorporate refinements back into the core solution asset base.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Technical Architect or a similar role in data services within one or more specific industries.
• Hands-on experience with software development and system administration within one or more specific industries.
• Expertise in Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, and Databricks or equivalent cloud technologies, data platforms, and Agentic AI/ML tools.
• Knowledge of data modeling (OLTP & OLAP), data formats (e.g. Avro, Parquet), and data pipelines (e.g. Spark, Airflow).
• Strong knowledge of software engineering principles, design patterns, data structures, testing frameworks, and deployment tools.
• Experience with event streaming platforms (e.g. Kafka) and service-oriented architecture (SOA).
• Excellent communication (internal and client-facing), problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing customer needs.
