JOB DESCRIPTION:
Insight Global's CPG Manufacturing client is looking to bring on a Senior HR Manager to their Fort Smith, AR, facility. The Senior HR Manager provides hands-on, on-site HR leadership for a manufacturing operation with multiple assembly lines and a warehouse, supporting a workforce of 200 employees across hourly, supervisory, and salaried populations. This role partners closely with leadership while maintaining a strong floor presence—walking the production areas, coaching employees at all levels, and applying a practical manufacturing mindset to people decisions.
Responsibilities include workforce planning and staffing, budget awareness, engagement survey execution, and day-to-day HR administration. The Senior HR Manager is also responsible for making sound people decisions, driving accountability, and confidently leading difficult conversations to support performance and culture.
MUST HAVES:
- Bachelor's degree in a Human Resources area of study
- 7 years of HR Management experience, ideally in a manufacturing setting
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Expert level knowledge with Workday HRIS and the full Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience contributing to high-level decision making with stakeholders
- Understanding of the full manufacturing life cycle
- Experience creating a company Succession Plan
- Creating career pathways
- What employees need additional support/coaching
- Experience with headcount forecasting
