Job Description
The Service Coordinator role is responsible for scheduling and dispatching technicians, handling customer inquiries, and coordinating service visits from startups to repairs and maintenance. It includes tracking technician time, managing job communication, invoicing and billing, assisting with AP/AR, and overseeing warranty administration and parts orders.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and dispatch technicians for startups, repairs, warranty work, and maintenance jobs.
- Handle customer inquiries and route technical questions to the appropriate resource.
- Track technician time, attendance, and job progress.
- Coordinate job startups and maintain communication with customers throughout service delivery.
- Prepare invoices, bill customers, and assist with local AP/AR functions to ensure payments are received.
- Manage warranty administration, order parts, and track shipments.
- Answer phones, greet customers, and maintain professional, courteous contact.
- Enter and maintain accurate information in the enterprise system, including work orders and technician hours.
Qualifications
- Must be bilingual in Spanish
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years of related experience in the mechanical, electrical, or plumbing service field, with a strong preference for HVAC background
