Accounting & Finance Analyst
Location: Secaucus, NJ | Industry: Apparel / Retail
We are seeking a hands-on Accounting & Finance Analyst to support a broad range of accounting and finance functions for a fast-paced apparel/retail business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities.
- Prepare cash-flow reports, forecasts, and financial analysis.
- Perform account, bank, vendor, customer, and inventory reconciliations.
- Monitor and analyze inventory, variances, and financial data.
- Support month-end/year-end close, journal entries, and reporting.
- Develop Excel-based reports and analyze large financial datasets.
- Use NetSuite for accounting transactions, reporting, and reconciliations.
- Identify process improvements and maintain strong financial controls.
Requirements:
- 10 years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
- Strong hands-on AP, AR, inventory, cash flow, and financial analysis experience.
- Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS/COUNTIFS).
- NetSuite experience strongly preferred.
- Strong reconciliation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in retail, apparel, fashion, or e-commerce is a plus.
