Job Summary:
The Helpdesk Analyst supports an Immunization Information System (IIS) by providing technical and customer support focused on data accuracy. The role involves resolving duplicate records, correcting data issues, and assisting healthcare providers and public health users with system-related questions.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to support requests from healthcare providers, public health staff, and internal users
Investigate and resolve duplicate records and data merge issues
Identify and correct data quality and integrity problems
Document all activities in the ticketing system
Escalate complex issues to technical or data teams when needed
Guide users on proper data entry and best practices
Support system testing, updates, and enhancements
Assist with reporting on data quality trends and improvements
Required Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Health Informatics, Public Health, or related field
4.5 years of experience in helpdesk, healthcare IT, or data quality support
Experience with data deduplication, matching, or record management
Strong analytical, communication, and customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with immunization information systems
Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ticketing tools
Knowledge of HL7, public health data standards, and HIPAA
Experience working with state or local public health agencies
