Investor Relations Associate Technology
ICR New York City Metropolitan Area (Hybrid)
ICR, one of the fastest-growing strategic communications firms is looking for a highly motivated Investor Relations Associate or Senior Associate to join their Technology team where the firm has obtained a meaningful market share position over the last several years. Current agency investor relations experience, capital markets experience in equity research, or investment banking is highly valued along with strong organizational ability and knowledge of the inner workings of the public markets as well as financial writing expertise.
The Investor Relations Associate or Senior Associate will focus on the execution of client IR programs and has meaningful opportunity for growth over time.
Responsibilities
- Help Develop strategic investor relations plans including conference participation, marketing efforts/trips, company events, etc.
- Work with client leads to assist in preparing companies for quarterly earnings and other events by drafting call scripts, press releases and assisting with related logistics
- Cover industry/sector news and managing information flow to companies
- Create analytical presentations and reports based on SEC filings and sell-side research
- Author and revamp company investor presentations
- Manage company interaction with Wall Street at investor conferences and other events
- Support private companies through the IPO process and banker selection
- Maintain various Excel models and databases/maintaining/updating databases and earnings models
- Assist with the creation and preparation of client reports we prepare on a quarterly basis including peer group financial and operating results, comparable valuation, trading performance and changes to institutional shareholder base
- Assist the team in developing/maintaining/updating IR strategy/timeline for clients’ investor engagement including investor conferences, non-deal roadshows and other major events
- Develop and manage relationships with current analysts and institutional investors
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-3 years (including internships) of Equity Research, Capital Markets, Investor Relations or related experience required
- Experience in technology industry investor relations a major plus
- B.A./ B.S. required
- Excel and financial modeling proficiency
- Self-motivated, confident, detail-oriented, and analytical
- Strong organizational skills and tendencies to assist client lead with day-to-day, ad hoc client requests and deliverables
- Uncompromising with respect to the importance of delivering high-quality, error-free, client deliverables
- Strong financial writing skills, and ability to communicate effectively and express complex ideas succinctly
- Results-oriented, with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and expeditiously
Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
