ICR is seeking an exceptional entry-level professional to join our Consumer team as an Investor Relations Associate. Responsibilities include:
- Provide comprehensive support to ICR Partners, Managing Directors, Senior Vice Presidents, Vice Presidents and Senior Associates
- Execute various project management and administrative responsibilities with precision and professionalism
- Handle press release distribution and exchange notifications
- Assemble and distribute analyst research to clients first thing each morning
- Coordinate all logistics matters related to client attendance at investor conferences, non-deal roadshows, analyst days, and virtual meetings
- Draft and develop client materials including press releases, shareholder letters, fact sheets, and IR website content
- Attend virtual investor and analyst meetings with clients and take notes on questions and feedback
- Maintain databases of client investor interactions
- Assist with the development of new business pitch materials and presentations
- Support quarterly Board of Directors presentation development for clients and other internal presentations
- Monitor and analyze competitor developments and financial performance across client portfolios
- Build and maintain relationships with equity research analysts and institutional investors
- Manage all logistics related to the quarterly earnings process including scheduling the conference call, coordinating with vendors, distributing press releases, scheduling follow up calls with the investor community
- Participate in quarterly earnings processes: management prep calls, drafting of earnings releases, drafting of conference call scripts, Q&A preparation
- Prepare ad hoc analyses and reports for clients including financial analyses, stock performance summaries, and institutional shareholder tracking
- Update and maintain a consolidated research analyst model summary for clients using analyst models
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required, business, finance, accounting or related field preferred but not required
- 0-2 years of professional experience OR substantial internship experience during college
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while being highly collaborative
- Proven track record of reliability and professional growth
- Strong academic performance and leadership experience preferred
- Working in New York City or Norwalk, CT office regularly
