Duties
- Oversee daily front desk activities, ensuring efficient check-in and check-out processes while maintaining high standards of guest service.
- Support the Front Office Manager in supervising front desk staff, providing training, guidance, and motivation to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
- Manage guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and a positive attitude, resolving issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill guest needs and enhance their stay.
- Assist with night audit procedures, balancing accounts and preparing reports to ensure financial accuracy at the end of each shift.
- Handle multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, directing calls appropriately and providing information to guests and staff.
- Promote a welcoming environment by demonstrating hospitality management best practices and fostering guest relations that encourage repeat visits.
Experience
- Proven experience in hotel management or front desk operations within a resort or hotel setting.
- Strong background in customer service, with excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly preferred.
- Familiarity with hotel management software systems.
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards, including guest services, guest relations, and front desk operations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining a positive work environment.
