Responsibilities
- Clear and reset tables promptly to prepare for incoming guests, ensuring a tidy and inviting dining area
- Assist servers by bussing tables, refilling water glasses, and delivering necessary items to guests as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping floors, wiping down surfaces, and removing trash regularly
- Support food handling procedures by ensuring proper sanitation practices are followed during table clearing and setup
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and address guest needs efficiently
- Help with basic setup and breakdown of dining spaces during shift changes or special events
- Uphold health and safety standards by adhering to food industry regulations and hotel or restaurant policies
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, catering, or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
- Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail in maintaining a hygienic workspace
