What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Sales Representative position at Hintech Recruiting LLC?
About the Company
We are seeking a high-performing, competitive, and strategic Territory Manager to spearhead and expand our hospital sales footprint across the Oregon territory.
About the Role
This is a premier field-based sales role perfect for an elite professional who knows how to navigate complex institutional sales cycles, build authentic champion networks among clinicians, and close complex deals with hospital stakeholders. We welcome proven winners from two distinct backgrounds: established medical sales experts looking for their next high-compensation leap, or exceptional B2B outside sales professionals with a documented track record of successfully selling into major hospital systems.
Responsibilities
- Drive Territory Growth: Own, manage, and expand the Oregon territory by aggressively converting competitive accounts and maximizing penetration within existing hospital systems.
- Navigate the Hospital Matrix: Masterfully sell to multi-level stakeholders including attending physicians, clinical directors, department heads, materials management, and Value Analysis Committees (VAC).
- Deliver Consultative Excellence: Conduct highly professional product demonstrations, clinical presentations, and in-service training sessions for hospital staff to drive product adoption and compliant usage.
- Strategic Account Management: Conduct regular business reviews, manage complex request-for-proposal (RFP) processes, and secure standard-of-care status within regional Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) and hospital systems.
- Maintain CRM & Market Intelligence: Track all pipelines, customer interactions, and competitor movements daily in our CRM to accurately forecast revenue.
Qualifications
- Experience (One of the following tracks is required):
- Track A (Medical Sales): Minimum of 3 years of direct medical, diagnostic, or medical device sales experience specifically calling on hospital departments.
- Track B (Outside B2B Sales): 3 to 5 years of successful outside business-to-business (B2B) sales experience, with a strict requirement that this experience involved directly calling on and selling into hospital systems.
Required Skills
- Documented Success: A proven, verifiable history of sales overachievement (e.g., top 10% stack-ranking, President’s Club awards, or exceeding quota year-over-year).
- Clinical & Commercial Acumen: The ability to easily learn, absorb, and clearly articulate complex medical concepts, clinical data, and corporate value propositions.
- Territory Hustle: Exceptional self-motivation, high emotional intelligence, and sharp negotiation skills.
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must be willing to travel throughout the assigned Oregon territory and meet all hospital/medical facility credentialing requirements (including background checks and immunization screenings).
Pay range and compensation package
- Total Earning Potential: $200,000 (uncapped commission structure rewarding market share growth).
- Vehicle Program: Company-provided vehicle (including fuel card and full maintenance).
- Benefits: Comprehensive W-2 benefits package including top-tier medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, and robust paid time off (PTO).
Equal Opportunity Statement
