Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to a diverse patient population across inpatient units, including ventilator management and airway support
• Monitor, assess, and adjust respiratory therapies per physician orders; document responses and outcomes
• Administer therapies such as oxygen, bronchodilators, aerosols, and airway clearance techniques
• Perform outpatient testing when needed, including Stress Tests, Pulmonary Function Tests, and EEG testing
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and therapists to optimize patient care and safety
• Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record and adhere to hospital protocols and infection control practices
  
  

Requirements

• Unrestricted Colorado RT license or ability to obtain prior to start date
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (may be obtained upon hire)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Advanced Provider certification
• At least 2 years of well-rounded RT experience with a diverse patient population; outpatient testing experience (Stress Tests, PFT, EEG)
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification preferred; EPIC experience and Spanish language skills preferred
