Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures according to physician orders and established safety protocols
• Prepare patients and radiology equipment; properly position patients to obtain high-quality images
• Process radiographic images, ensure technical quality, and correctly route images to interpreting physicians
• Operate radiology equipment and support teleradiology and fax workflows for image transmission
• Maintain radiology records in accordance with privacy and documentation standards
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines, maintain ALARA principles, and ensure patient and staff safety during procedures
  
  

Requirements

• Arizona State Radiology license (R) and ARRT Radiology certification (R)
• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiology; at least 3 years of radiology experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Proficiency in operating radiology equipment and processing radiographic images; experience with teleradiology and fax systems
• Ability to work in a busy surgical center setting with both inpatient and outpatient services
• Eligibility to work a Tuesday–Friday 7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m. schedule and to support a 13-week travel assignment
