Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy treatments per protocol, including oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, intermittent positive pressure breathing, chest physiotherapy, ventilator management, incentive spirometry, and sputum induction as required.
- Manage ventilator support and monitor patient response; adjust settings according to physician orders and protocols.
- Perform cardio-pulmonary diagnostics as needed, such as electrocardiograms, pulmonary function testing, arterial blood sampling and analysis, and sleep-related studies or home monitoring as required.
- Document patient care accurately in the medical record per departmental standards and ensure proper equipment operation, calibration, and safety checks.
- Assist with procedures and diagnostics as assigned, including bronchoscopy support and related bedside procedures.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and discharge planning.

Requirements
- Active, current Colorado license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- CRT required; RRT within 2 years
- ACLS/ALC required within 6 months of employment
- BLS current
- Minimum 2 years of relevant respiratory therapy experience
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and tolerate night shift schedules
