Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures for adults and pediatrics according to protocol, ensuring high-quality images and proper protocol selection
• Screen patients, obtain informed consent, assess contraindications, and ensure safety during MRI scanning
• Prepare and position patients, administer contrast when indicated, monitor for adverse reactions, and manage IV access as needed
• Operate MRI equipment, adjust sequences and parameters, monitor patient comfort, and perform post-processing and image optimization
• Verify patient identity and order accuracy, document examinations in the electronic medical record (Epic), and communicate findings or anomalies with radiologists
  
  

Requirements

• ARRT or ARMRIT license with MR advanced licensure
• BLS certification required
• MRI tech certification verification (equivalency) required
• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience
• Epic experience within the past 2 years
• Philips experience required; teaching hospital experience preferred
