Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a 37-bed Med-Surg unit, in collaboration with the RN and multidisciplinary team
• Administer medications and perform routine nursing procedures within LPN scope of practice, with RN supervision as required
• Monitor vital signs, assess patient status, and update care plans; document observations in the charting system
• Respond to changes in patient condition, escalate promptly, and participate in care coordination and discharge planning
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and hygiene; support activities of daily living and cabin environment
• Adhere to unit protocols for infection control, med administration, and equipment use
  
  

Requirements

• Current New York Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• 1 year of adult/geriatric Med-Surg or equivalent experience
• Meditech charting experience
• Ability to work 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m. nights and adapt to a 2x3 schedule
• Eligibility for travel assignments and compliance with credentialing requirements
