You will work in a LTCC nursing setting with responsibilities that may include floating between two floors. Standard nursing duties apply; charge nurse responsibilities on your unit do not incur an additional rate. A 100-mile radius rule applies to permanent addresses. Timely start on the assignment is required per program policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adult residents in a long-term care environment, including routine nursing assessments and monitoring
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with care plans and facility policies
• Monitor vital signs, document changes, and report acute concerns to the supervising nurse or charge nurse
• Assist with activities of daily living and rehabilitative tasks; support residents’ safety and comfort
• Collaborate with licensed nurses and other healthcare teammates; assist with unit workflow across two floors as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation, follow infection control protocols, and uphold privacy and dignity standards
  
  

Requirements

• Active LPN license or eligibility to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• Ability to perform 3x12-hour day shifts (8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m.) and to float between floors as needed
• Experience in Long-Term Care nursing or LTCC nursing preferred
• Ability to start on time and meet assignment start date; reliable transportation and attendance are essential
• Willingness to comply with the 100-mile radius rule for permanent addresses
• Strong communication and teamwork aptitude; commitment to resident safety and quality of care
