Accounts Payable Specialist

As we continue to expand, we are strengthening our internal accounting team to support multiple entities within our network.

Position Overview
We are seeking a full-time Accounts Payable Specialist to support day-to-day bookkeeping and accounts payable functions across multiple entities. This is a hands-on, on-site role based in our West Hempstead office and is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail who is comfortable working in a multi-entity environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and enter invoices using proper bookkeeping and accounting codes

• Manage accounts payable functions, including preparing and cutting checks as needed

• Perform bank reconciliations for assigned accounts

• Update and track daily cash activity

• Maintain accurate and organized financial records

• Support accounts payable operations across multiple entities (up to seven over time)

• Utilize QuickBooks for transaction entry and reporting

• Collaborate with internal finance and operations teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness

• Comfortable supporting multiple entities (starting with two, expanding to seven)

Qualifications

• Previous accounts payable or bookkeeping experience preferred

• Experience with QuickBooks required

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a growing, multi-entity environment

• Experience in behavioral health, hospital, or healthcare settings is a strong plus

Location: West Hempstead, NY (Onsite)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $70,000–$75,000 annually
