The Role
This is a founding leadership role. As the Educational Director / Founding Site Leader, you’ll be the first frontline leader on the ground—owning day-to-day operations while helping shape the long-term vision. You’ll serve as the Educational Director, community-facing leader, family liaison, and program builder, partnering closely with the founder to launch, stabilize, and scale the center.

Requirements
- Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education (required)
- Meets DOH compliance requirements for Educational Director
- Childcare operations
- Community-based education
- Growth-stage / startup environments
- Preferred: Background in Special Education and/or Early Intervention
- Leadership mindset with strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Lead daily operations of the childcare and early education program
- Oversee programs
- Serve as primary liaison to families and the community
- Support enrollment, retention, and family engagement
- Hire, mentor, and lead staff as the center grows
- Ensure program quality, compliance, and alignment with mission
- Collaborate with leadership on expansion plans, including:
- Early intervention services
- Additional educational and community programs
- Help design systems and processes to support future scaling
- Day program (8:45 AM – 3:00 PM)
- Afterschool program (3:30 PM – 5:30 PM, ages 5–12)
