What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Night Auditor position at Glenmoor Country Club?
- 3 - 10 hour overnight shifts/week with possibility of additional hours
- Understand night audit procedure and duties. Preparing reports for following day.
- Building walk throughs and checks
- Answer the phone to respond to current and prospective guests needs.
- Book reservations for individuals, families, and groups as required.
- Greet guests as they arrive at the club.
- Register guests and assigns rooms. Accommodates special requests whenever possible.
- Schedule special services with departments, such as tee times, and spa services when guests inquire.
- Assists in preregistration and blocking of rooms for reservations.
- Thoroughly understand and adheres to proper credit, check- cashing, and cash handling policies and procedures.
- Understands room status and room status tracking.
- Knows room locations, types of rooms available, and room rates.
- Must be sales-minded. Presents options and alternatives to guests and offers assistance in making choices.
- Uses suggestive selling techniques to upsell rooms and promote other services of the hotel.
- Knows the location and types of available rooms as well as the activities and services of the property.
- Coordinates room status updates with the housekeeping department by notification housekeeping of all check outs, late checkouts, early check-ins, special requests, and day use rooms.
- Possesses a working knowledge of the reservations department. Takes same day reservations and future reservations when necessary. Knows cancellation procedures.
- Works closely with Sales and Catering department regarding events within the Club requiring overnight rooms.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
