We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Fund Accountant to join our team and play a key role in managing fund operations and financial reporting. We are a dynamic investment management firm dedicated to delivering exceptional results for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate daily with the third-party administrator.
- Complete and accurate maintenance of fund books and records.
- Timely financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP.
- Accurate and timely investor reporting.
- Perform cash management activities.
- Initiating wires for investment purchases and fund expenses.
- Confirming wire instructions and processing draws/paydowns on credit lines.
- Reconciling capital calls.
- Assist with financial statement audits and regulatory compliance reporting.
- Review investor K-1s and other tax-related filings.
- Prepare and conduct analytical reviews of weekly and monthly fund performance and investor reports.
- Provide support to investment and client service teams for ad-hoc requests.
- Participate in special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in fund accounting, public accounting or financial services.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and investment fund structures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with fund accounting systems is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
