This person will lead a small team of accountants, ensure GAAP compliance, and deliver accurate, timely reports for management and the board. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a small team of accountants, managing workload and professional development.
- Oversee journal entries, reconciliations, and consolidations across multiple entities.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, board reports, and ad hoc analyses.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and portfolio‑level investment reporting.
- Partner with auditors, lenders, and management on financial requests and compliance.
- Drive process improvements and strengthen internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA required.
- 7 years of accounting experience in public or industry
- Investment/financial services and /or real estate industry experience required
- Strong GAAP knowledge, analytical skills, and leadership ability.
Salary : $150,000 - $185,000
