Overview
Successful candidates for the Human Resources Leader- Talent Business Line position will have experience acting as the single strategic point of contact with business leaders for all matters relating to Human Resources. Experience in a consultative organization driven to achieve organic and inorganic growth goals will be a plus. A strategic approach and the ability to lead with confidence will be critical. Familiarity with the M&A process, including integration of acquired organizations is important.

- HR COE Teams, including Learning and Development, Talent Acquisition and Data and Analytics
Responsibilities
- As a member of the Global Talent Business Line Leadership team, US Talent Business Line Leadership team and stakeholder in the Business Line’s success:
- Define and execute HR priorities to help drive the US business line’s business goals
- Evaluate human capital risks and opportunities in the US and proactively develop solutions
- Communicate and coordinate the execution of global HR priorities as appropriate through the HR Leaders in Canada and the UK to help drive the Global business line’s business goals
- Serve as the trusted partner, coach and counsel to the Global Managing Director, the US Managing Director and the US Practice Leaders on strategic and/or sensitive issues
- Coordinate strategic planning and annual HR processes (e.g., compensation, performance management / calibration, succession planning) for the client group
- Day-to-day management responsibility for one HR Business Partner including performance, workload and priorities
- Foster professional growth of direct report to facilitate career development and retention of strong HR talent
- Partner with various HR COEs (e.g., Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, Employee Relations) to deliver effective service/solutions for clients
- Lead the Merger and Acquisition activity for the assigned client group (due diligence and integration)
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of HR compliance and legal issues to reduce risks and ensure regulatory compliance
- Deliver against workforce planning needs and annual compensation cycles
- Own and manage global reporting, including GOC reports, functional and business functional updates and plans

About You
Ideal Experience
- Progressive experience in Human Resources Leadership within a global organization
- HR consulting experience is desired
- Sector knowledge in insurance brokerage, financial services, or consulting is desired
- Excellent communication skills shown through clear, structured, and concise written and verbal presentation
- Master's Degree in Human Resources or a related discipline and PHR or SPHR desired

Requirements
- 7 years of related experience including experience supporting a global client group
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development or related field
- Able and willing to travel approximately 15% of the time
- Experience with Human Capital Management systems (Oracle HRIS, iCIMS, PowerBI, Salesforce, etc.) and a level of comfort managing large HR Data sets
- Experience influencing and coaching managers and senior leaders
- Strong Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
